The Center for Worker Justice of Eastern Iowa (CWJ) unites low-wage workers across race, ethnicity, and immigration status to pursue social and economic justice through education, leadership development, issue-based organizing, direct services, and community alliances.
CWJ was founded in 2012 by a coalition of religious, community, labor and immigrant organizations, and is affiliated nationally with the Interfaith Worker Justice network.
CWJ members are currently organizing around the following priority issues:
